PHYLLIS PATTERSON

Phyllis Patterson has over 40 years of real estate experience. She specializes in properties in historic Old Town Alexandria, Mount Vernon, along the scenic George Washington Parkway, and throughout Northern Virginia, and offers extensive knowledge of waterfront homes, residential land development, and custom home building. Phyllis is a Life Member of NVAR’s Top Producers and was named a Top 100 Women Leaders in Real Estate of 2021. She is also a graduate of the Realtors Institute of Virginia, a designation held by only 12% of realtors in the state. Phyllis has four children and currently lives in Alexandria with her husband and dog and has loved living so close to Founders Park and the waterfront.

Brittany “Britt” Patterson is Alexandria through and through. Born and raised in the city she proudly serves, Britt is a graduate of Virginia Tech, where she majored in Business Marketing and minored in Real Estate before returning home to join her family’s long-established real estate business. After two years in political fundraising, she joined The Patterson Group in 2008 and now serves as Senior Vice President and Global Real Estate Advisor. An Accredited Staging Professional, Britt brings a strategic eye for presentation, a lifelong understanding of the local market, and a deeply personal investment in every client experience.
Deeply woven into Alexandria’s creative, philanthropic, and small-business communities, Britt is a board and contributing member of the Alexandria Stylebook, a past honoree of the Alexandria Chamber of Commerce’s 2017 “40 Under 40,” a former president of the Junior Friends of The Campagna Center, a board member of the Inova Alexandria Hospital Foundation, and a board member and co-chair of the Waynewood Witches Ride for LLS. She is also actively involved in fundraising for several local schools and athletic programs. Additionally, Britt is a founding member of Mount Vernon Estate’s Underground Committee, reflecting her passion for preserving and uplifting local history and culture.
A proud lifelong Alexandrian—and a natural connector of people—Britt embodies what it means to live, work, and give back locally. When she’s not working, you’ll find her exploring neighborhood shops, supporting local restaurants, attending charity events, planning social functions, or playing Mahjong with friends. She also enjoys time at home in Fort Hunt with her husband, Geoff, their daughter, Georgie, and their puggle, Paisley.
MARIA BOWMAN ANSLEY

Maria is known for her tireless work ethic and her ability to deliver a full-service, white-glove real estate experience, always going above and beyond for her clients. She has worked with The Patterson Group since 2013 and consistently displays a keen and comprehensive knowledge of every facet of the real estate process. Because Maria grew up in a military family, she is well-acquainted with the moving process, but she has always called Alexandria home. She spent most of her childhood living in Waynewood and went on to attend Villanova University, where she majored in Communications and played on the Division 1 lacrosse team for four years. Maria lived in Old Town’s Yates Gardens for several years before moving back to Waynewood, where she and her husband, Jonathon, currently live with their children, Blair and Harrison. She spent many years as a Junior Friend of The Campagna Center and notably chaired the beloved Scottish Christmas Walk Weekend, a role that deepened her ties to Alexandria’s cherished traditions. When Maria is not working, she enjoys going to the neighborhood park with her kids, dining in Old Town’s vibrant restaurant scene and running along the George Washington Parkway. She is also very involved with fundraising efforts for her children's school and serves on the board of her neighborhood civic association.
MELISSA LEPORE-HOLUP

From listing to closing, Melissa confidently guides her clients through every step of the process. Melissa has over 20 years of experience working in real estate and has been an agent for 11 years. From Alexandria City to Kingstowne to her childhood neighborhood of Wilton Woods, Melissa has a wealth of knowledge of Alexandria and its surrounding areas. Having worked on the lending side of things before obtaining her real estate license in 2011, Melissa has extensive experience in many facets of the real estate industry. Melissa has developed great relationships with local & knowledgeable lenders to help guide her clients through to settlement. She also spent five years as a sales manager serving VIP guests at The Watergate Hotel in Washington, DC, and has brought that “hospitality mentality” with her to real estate. Throughout her career, her main focus has been customer service. As an agent and as the team’s Contract Coordinator, client satisfaction is her main goal. Recently married in 2020, Melissa has enjoyed spending time with her husband and traveling with friends. Melissa loves boating along the Potomac River in the summer and escaping the winter with adventures to the Caribbean! In her free time, she loves to cook and explore Virginia wineries.

Born into a real estate family, Paige Patterson has real estate in her DNA. After growing up in Alexandria, Virginia and attending college at the University of North Carolina – Chapel Hill, where she played lacrosse and studied Journalism and Entrepreneurship, Paige spent a year and a half working in commercial real estate. At CBRE, she gained valuable insight into both the D.C. and Virginia real estate markets. Paige began working for The Patterson Group, alongside her mother, Phyllis, and sister, Brittany, in 2018. Since then Paige has quickly developed into a seasoned agent of her own. Clients sing praises of her plethora of knowledge, level headed guidance, and ability to get things done!
Paige currently lives in Arlington, VA with her husband, daughter, and son. In her free time she enjoys playing golf, exploring new restaurants, and spending time with family.
MARGARET O'MEARA DOUGLAS

Margaret Douglas is a dedicated and client-focused realtor who loves helping people navigate one of life’s biggest decisions—buying or selling a home. A native of the Mount Vernon area of Alexandria, Margaret has been licensed in Virginia since 2021 and thrives in real estate because of her hands-on approach and commitment to making the process as smooth as possible for her clients.
Margaret started her real estate career with the team in 2020 as a Listing and Marketing Coordinator, where she learned every detail of preparing homes for market. From helping clients clean out spaces and coordinating painters, cleaners, and stagers to managing professional photoshoots, she gained invaluable experience in what it takes to showcase a home at its best. Today, she brings that same attention to detail and personal touch to her work as a realtor, walking her clients through every step of the process and handling the behind-the-scenes details so they don’t have to.
A proud graduate of Virginia Tech, Margaret studied Communications and Art History, and she draws on her creative and organizational skills to craft effective marketing strategies and build lasting relationships with her clients. Recently married, Margaret and her husband, Scott Douglas, tied the knot in October 2024 and now live together in Alexandria, where she enjoys exploring the vibrant community she calls home. When she’s not working, Margaret enjoys spending time with family and friends, taking on creative projects, and meeting new people throughout the area.
TAYLOR MORAN

Taylor Moran, an Alexandria native, joined The Patterson Group in the spring of 2024 as Marketing Manager. She oversees the team’s digital and print marketing, including strategy, content creation, social media, and advertising campaigns. For each property, Taylor curates bespoke campaigns — from refined brochures and feature sheets to targeted mailers and digital advertising — ensuring every home is showcased with the distinction it deserves.
Taylor attended LSU for her Bachelor's degree where she studied PR & Marketing and went on to complete her Master's in Brand Management at Glion in Switzerland. Taylor currently lives with her husband in Alexandria and enjoys traveling to new countries with friends and family, trying new restaurants, and creating content for her social media.

Born and raised in the DC area, Morgan graduated from The George Washington University with a Bachelor’s of Science in Exercise Physiology and a minor in Communications. Morgan has worked in the medical field for the past 5 years and is excited to continue her career in Real Estate with The Patterson Group. She brings a blend of hardwork, enthusiasm, and reliability to the team having spent years in medical device sales. She is deeply experienced in navigating high-stakes decisions, explaining complex information clearly, and advocating for people when it matters most. These are the same skills she plans to translate at The Patterson Group to guide homebuyers and sellers through one of life’s biggest investments.
With her strong foundation in relationship building and problem solving, Morgan will ensure clients feel confident, supported, and well-informed every step of the way—from the first showing to closing day. Her commitment is to make buying or selling a home not just efficient, but personal, transparent, and tailored to each client’s goals.

Maggie Hulkower joined The Patterson Group as Listing Coordinator in September 2025, after previously interning with the team in both 2021 and 2024. Born and raised in Alexandria, Virginia, Maggie graduated from the University of North Carolina – Wilmington with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration before returning home to begin her career in real estate.
In her role, Maggie works closely with agents and clients to ensure every home is prepared and presented at its very best. From coordinating vendors and photoshoots to managing timelines and details behind the scenes, she helps create a seamless experience from listing launch through market debut.
When she’s not working, Maggie loves to travel and spend time at the beach. She also enjoys exploring Alexandria’s local restaurant scene, spending time outdoors, and relaxing with her dog, Max.
