Coming this December, Spray Tans by Stefani is moving to Old Town! There’s nothing quite like the confidence from a tan. Luckily, even in the winter, we have an industry leader to go to for the perfect sunless tan.
Spray Tans by Stefani has been Arlington’s favorite sunless tanning salon, and now it’s soon to be an Alexandria favorite. In December, Stefani will move into a shop at the corner of Patrick and King Street and will open under the new name, “The Bronze Collective.”
The Bronze Collective will offer custom-mixed tans to ensure you achieve a natural tan without looking orange. The staff is trained in color theory so that each formula is custom-blended to match the undertones of your skin for a smooth, flawless color. She also prides herself on their organic-based, 100 percent vegan, and clean ingredients.
Talking with Stefani, we could hear how excited she was to move out of Arlington to have a storefront and larger space here in Alexandria. The move will allow for her business to open up from two servicers to four servicers, doubling her footprint and giving her clients and staff more opportunity and business. Even before opening, The Bronze Collective loved the chance to engage with the community during Old Town’s Trick or Treat weekend and other community events throughout town. Their team of five is sure to meet many more community members as the collective moves into their space above Jeni’s Ice Cream, just off the bustling King Street.
Stefani has been in the sunless tanning business for 14 years, but moved to Northern Virginia in 2020. It’s impressive that in such a short amount of time, her business has earned over 400 five-star reviews from happy clients. Spray Tans by Stefani was also voted “Best of DC” in 2021 and 2022 by DC Modern Luxury Magazine. Spray Tans by Stefani is known most for her bridal tanning and contour tanning. She serves 50-75 brides a month, all using her special formula that won’t leave dyes on a white wedding dress. That’s every bride's dream, right?
