Call Your Mother Deli
Good Food. Good Vibes. Good People. That's what D.C.-based deli Call Your Mother is all about. Originating at farmer's markets before opening their first location in D.C.'s Park View neighborhood in 2018, Call Your Mother has expanded throughout Washington D.C. to locations in Georgetown, Capitol Hill, Bethesda, and service in several farmer's markets in town. Coming to the corner of N Pitt Street and Cameron Street in the former Helen Olivia Flowers space, Call Your Mother will soon open their newest location in the heart of Old Town. This will be the 6th location for Call Your Mother, and work has already been underway inside the retail space! Kismet Modern Indian
Sister restaurant to D.C.'s Karma Modern Indian will open this fall at 111 N. Pitt Street in the former home of BurgerFi and Ireland's Own. Karma Modern Indian is a Michelin-recognized restaurant in downtown D.C. The Old Town sister restaurant will be named Kismet Modern Indian and will be a casual, family-friendly showcase of award-winning cuisine from Karma's Executive Chef Ajay Kurmar. Foxtrot
Coming to the corner of Washington Street and King Street in the former French cafe Le Pain Quotidien space, Foxtrot is an upscale convenience chain expanding to Old Town. Foxtrot is a Chicago-based grocery delivery chain that already services the Chicago, Dallas, and Washington D.C. areas. Foxtrot's D.C. locations are in Mt. Vernon Triangle, and Georgetown and now will find a home in Alexandria, VA. Although an opening date has not been set yet, we've already seen some movement happening in the previously vacant corner space! We're keeping our ears to the ground for this one -- anyone else looking forward to this delivery-focused upscale convenience store experience right on King Street?!

Did anyone pick up a new workout routine during quarantine? If so, the newest athletic clothing store coming to Old Town will be the place for you! Athleta will open in the former La Tasca restaurant on King Street. Construction has already started, and the motivating Athleta billboard across the construction zone can be seen as we walk by!
